It's finally here.
I'm not expecting to have the baby today because today is just a square on the calendar that marks an approximate date for which the baby is considered to be "due". Fewer than 5% of women have their babies on their "due date" and I am not expecting to be one of them.
But... today is a milestone.
I look back to where I was forty weeks ago.
Anxious.
Apprehensive.
Unsure of what was in store for me ahead.
Did I think I'd be sitting here 40 weeks later about to give birth?
Absolutely not.
But I wouldn't change it for the world.
